Alturki Group Real Estate division was formed to plan and coordinate the Group’s real estate requirements and to acquire land and properties. Its activities are initially focused on acquisition of land and properties to cater to the Group’s current and long-term operational needs. The Group’s experience and market knowledge in the real estate sector provided a drive to the expansion of the group’s real estate division activities. The division has increasingly been undertaking property development projects for its own account. For example, in 2003 the Group developed its first shopping complex, the Alturki Center, located on the Corniche Alkhobar, housing a mix of retail tenants. The group will work to grow this new Real Estate Division through acquisitions, new-build projects and conversions. By forming the division, the group hopes to capitalize on the growing demand for real estate projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Alturki Center
